In this role you will manage and administer the database infrastructure to support critical business operations, shaping definitions, structure, and documentation for long-term reliability. You will configure, install, and maintain DBMSs, enforce security and access control, and implement robust disaster recovery plans. You’ll collaborate with users and developers to solve complex database issues, while planning capacity and ensuring scalability. Responsabilità
- Configure, install and maintain database management systems
- Manage user access and enforce security standards
- Develop and implement disaster recovery, backup and recovery plans
- Support end users and application developers with database issues
- Implement data protection policies to safeguard against external threats
- Conduct capacity planning and growth projections to ensure scalability
- Coordinate database project plans with cross-functional teams
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve performance and reliability
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3 years experience with Oracle DB administration with technical certification
- Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud
