EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture is expanding its international presence with the opening of a new studio in Florence, a city where art, craftsmanship, and architectural heritage have long intertwined. Following its studio in Istanbul, the Florence office marks a new chapter in EAA’s ongoing dialogue between local context and global discourse. The new studio aims to engage with the rich architectural and cultural fabric of Italy, fostering collaborations that bridge contemporary practice with deep-rooted traditions of making and thinking about space.

Within this scope, EAA is seeking Junior Architects to join the Florence team, critical thinkers and talented designers who will contribute to the studio’s evolving design culture and its commitment to critical, contextually grounded architecture.
Job Description

- Generating architectural design ideas and schemes,
- Contributing to the development of a project under the guidance of Global Design Director and Team Leaders,
- Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities given by Global Design Director and Team Leaders regarding the project,
- Working within a project team with an active contribution through constructively critical ideas,
- Scheduling project related assignments and demands efficiently to remain faithful to deadlines, with regular interaction and direction from Project Leader,
- Participation in design improvement meetings within EAA,
- Preparation of project model, related 2D and 3D drawings,
- Preparation of graphics, texts and images that include analy s es of land conditions, land physical conditions, functional requirements, sustainability issues, historical, social and cultural layers of the area,
- Preparation of presentation files,
- Conducting intellectual research on the context of projects,
- Preparation of material toolbox.
