Are you eager to build a career within the marine and offshore service sector? Do you enjoy practical, hands-on maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades?
As a Service Technician, our entry level role, you will support inspections, maintenance,
and repair tasks across both MacGregor and third-party systems, including cranes, winches, hatch covers, steering gears and RoRo equipment. Working under the guidance and direct mentorship of Senior Engineers, you will concentrate on carrying out routine preventive maintenance and get to know our equipment.
This role requires extensive European travel to client sites, shipyards, and vessels. Given our global client base, high flexibility is essential. Our office is in Trieste for local assignments, so living within reach is required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform supervised service activities such as refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance and corrective actions
- Hands-on work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Working from technical drawings and manuals and using standard tools and diagnostic equipment
- Preparing service reports and other documentat
