Internal Control Internship

An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the Internal Control team at Haier Europe. The Company is on a journey to achieve ambitious business growth and leadership objectives in the region, and we need someone who is passionate, proactive, self-driven and motivated to join a team of open-minded individuals.
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates the core values of the Haier’s attitude: entrepreneurship and innovation, zero distance to consumers and IoT & Ecosystem thinking. A true change agent with an agile approach thriving for idea contamination and with a hyper-collaborative approach that breaks silos and creates an open ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with performing SOX to evaluate the existence, efficiency, and effectiveness of internal control procedures
- Assist with the review and evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls of key processes, and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
- Support Internal Audit Director to ensure proper identification and disposition of issues that have potential compliance risk to the company.
- Analyze audit evidence and prepare conclusions through workpapers for review by Internal Audit management
- Assist with monitoring the completion of committed action plans to ensure follow through and closure of identified risks
Requirements
- Neo graduated or student in Economics or similar field
- Fluent in Italian and English (written, spoken and by phone).
- Excellent knowledge of Office Package (in particular Excel)
- Previous experience in Audit will be considered a plus
We offer a six-month paid internship
800 euro/month, ticket meals (7,50 euro for every day on-site), lavoro da remoto, free company shuttle (from Cascina Gobba)
