WHAT YOU WILL FIND
- Core activities. You will modernize business-critical applications, from reverse engineering to code transformation and testing. You will apply AI to reconstruct business logic, support development and validate functional equivalence. You will have the opportunity to help evolve our agentic system that support AI-assisted modernization, by building reusable tools and methods. You will contribute to technical decisions and help colleagues develop their skills.
- Tech & tools stack. Depending on the project, you will work with Java or Python, legacy technologies such as COBOL or RPG, Git, CI/CD and automated testing. You will use AI coding assistants and contribute to agentic workflows for code analysis, documentation, transformation and validation.
- Team work. You will join Reply’s modernization team in Milan, working alongside software engineers, architects and clients’ IT teams on complex enterprise systems, including financial services and industrial applications. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, with opportunities to take on broader technical leadership responsibilities. The role combines hybrid working with regular collaboration in person.
