We are looking for an Industrialization Engineer to join the Operations team at CAREL HQ, reporting directly to the Group Production Engineering Manager. You will be the global point of reference for product industrialization: leading the journey from R&D; design to production line go-live, in close coordination with our plants in the EU, USA, and China.
What you will do:
- From Design to Production: Partner with R&D; applying Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) methodologies and lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process—from manufacturing feasibility analysis, PFMEA, and Control Plans, to pre-series and Start of Production.
- Lines & Testing: Design production line layouts, assembly cycles, and Time & Motion standards.
Define technical specifications for test benches and automation systems (functional, leak, and pressure testing).
- Global Network & Suppliers: Drive technology transfer and continuous improvement across our global manufacturing plants. Manage scouting and procurement for advanced equipment and suppliers (presses, laser welding, brazing, and testing systems).
Who we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Background as a Manufacturing, Process, or Industrialization Engineer within the mechanical, electromechanical, automotive, plant engineering, or precision assembly sectors.
- Key Skills: Familiarity with core methodologies such as Lean, Time & Motion, FMEA, and technical drawings (CAD/PLM). Strong command of the English language. xivgfpx
