As a Computer Vision System Engineer in the Digital Factory Innovation team, you will develop vision-based solutions to improve production efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You will work with cross-functional partners to translate industrial requirements into vision concepts and algorithms. Your work will advance imaging technologies and data-driven improvements in manufacturing. This role offers international collaboration, cutting-edge tech, and scope to influence Pirelli's manufacturing footprint. You will help shape scalable CV solutions that impact daily operations and product quality.

Responsabilità
- Technology scouting of vision system options (cameras, lighting, imaging methods) to meet system requirements
- Design and development of computer vision algorithms to optimize workflows,



reduce waste, and improve quality
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, translating requirements into viable vision solutions
- Produce and curate complex industrial image datasets to support projects
- Present findings clearly to management and external partners, tailoring communication to technical and non-technical audiences

Requisiti fondamentali
- 2–3 years of industry experience in developing vision system solutions
- Strong knowledge of modern computer vision techniques (quality inspections, optical flow, camera calibration, image processing, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and C# with CV libraries such as OpenCV and Halcon
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written)
