Purpose of the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager at Burberry, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Store Manager in driving category performance, leading and motivating your sales team to achieve ambitious sales goals and deliver the exceptional Burberry Experience. This position demands a passionate, hands-on leader dedicated to coaching, developing talent, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our brand's values and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and develop sales associates by enhancing their selling skills and closing sales consistently to meet or exceed sales KPIs.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive category sales, focusing on sell-through strategies and delivering targeted team training in your assigned category.
Foster a high-performing, customer-centric team culture that embodies the Burberry Experience across all touchpoints, maintaining a service-oriented atmosphere on the sales floor.
Manage customer flow efficiently to provide seamless service, ensuring no client is left unattended and setting the pace and standards for excellence.
Encourage strong teamwork and partnership among sales associates, specialists, stock, and operations teams to optimise store performance.
Coach your team in real-time and post-transaction to reinforce successes and address development areas, ensuring follow-up actions are consistently executed.
Support talent development and retention through regular performance reviews, personalised development plans, and recognition of achievements.
