Your Role:
As a Food R&D; Intern, you will be part of our Food R&D; team and will lead, supported by our Raw Material Specialist, a scientific project aiming to improve internal knowledge about our key ingredients and their functionalities.
Project proposal: Characterization of the functional properties of a specific ingredient type in systematic model matrices,
followed by evaluation in complex application matrices
Phase I – knowledge: Literature review, scientific state of the art on the topic
Phase II – Systematic characterization: Analytical evaluations of micro & macro functionalities
Phase III – Application study: Testing observations in complex matrices (food products)
Who You Are:

Deep understanding of ingredient functionality and food processing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
English proficiency (B2 level minimum)
Residence within one hour of Milan or willingness to relocate
Availability to be primarily on-site at our Innovation Lab
