We are looking for:
The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for: 1) Providing engineering leadership in the development, design, and execution of small to medium-sized capital projects within the Piedmont and Rock Hill sites; 2) Providing direct oversight of outside engineering firms and technical specialists to ensure project designs are developed in compliance with Syensqo specifications, standards, and engineering practices; 3) Supporting Production and Maintenance teams by providing mechanical design input to maintenance activities and reliability projects.

- Effectively manage multiple capital and expense projects simultaneously from project concept (FEL I-III) to implementation and closure (full execution).
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules with input from Production, Process, and Maintenance engineering teams.
- Lead detailed design efforts for small capital and expense projects.
- Lead and manage external engineering contractors for large capital project design efforts and provide additional design resources during peak activity levels.
- Develop engineering specifications and bid packages for engineering services, construction labor, and equipment.
- Lead project design reviews with input from multiple departments, such as Production, Industrial Automation, Process Engineering, and Maintenance.
