Overview In this role you will lead system verification for complex medical devices, partnering with Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Quality teams to ensure safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. You will translate system requirements into verification plans, execute tests, and maintain audit-ready documentation. You'll analyze results, drive root-cause investigations, and mentor others while supporting risk management and regulatory activities. This position offers impact across the product lifecycle within a collaborative, innovation-driven environment at a global medical technology company.

Define and execute system verification strategies for complex medical devices
Translate system requirements into verification plans, protocols, test cases, and traceability matrices
Coordinate and perform system-level testing (functional, performance, usability, safety)
Collaborate with Systems, Software, Hardware, and Quality teams to ensure coverage
Analyze test results with statistical methods and prepare technical reports
Investigate verification failures and support corrective actions
Plan, schedule, resource, and track verification activities
Ensure audit-ready, regulatory-compliant verification documentation
Drive continuous improvement of verification processes, methodologies, and tools
3+ years in Verification & Validation, System Verification, or Testing in Medical Devices or highly regulated sectors
~ Proven experience verifying complex hardware/software systems
~ Knowledge of IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA regulations, European MDR
~ Experience with DOORS, Jira, or similar tools
~ Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
~ Basic programming/scripting (Python, MATLAB)
~ Understanding of embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and software validation
~ Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
