This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring business continuity throughout the duration of the assignment.
KONE Purchasing is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect material and service sourcing for KONE. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic Projects and Modernization Purchasing team in the KONE Global Direct Material Europe Purchasing organization. As a Purchasing Specialist,
you will focus on direct materials procurement initiatives for Modernization as well as the Control Systems and Networks Solutions & Devices categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to succeed in this position.
This position is based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA), Italy.
Key Responsibilities Manage all procurement activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility.
Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans.
Identify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability.
Manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders.
