Corporate & Investment Banking Finance AreaAbout the jobGeneral Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant, also supporting management control and cost monitoring activities. The position is intended for a junior professional with approximately 2 years of experience in accounting and administration, able to work independently on recurring activities and eager to grow in a dynamic and international environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Supplier onboarding and approval.
- Review of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle.
- Recording, checking and payment of invoices.
- Account reconciliations and review of outstanding items.
- Processing of travel expenses.
- Support for periodic and year-end closings.
- Monitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis.
- Participation in the annual cost budgeting process.
- Maintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers.
- Accounts receivable invoicing and related controls.
- Review and accounting of fees relating to services provided to and received from Head Office, ensuring accuracy, correct accounting allocation and compliance with deadlines.
- Support with tax compliance and tax payments, as well as preparation of documentation required for reviews, audits and internal controls.
