About the Company
Our client is a venture-backed Silicon Valley company headquartered in San Francisco, building the AI systems behind modern farming. The technology pairs computer vision hardware mounted on farm equipment with a cloud platform that gives growers precise, plant-by-plant data across thousands of acres. Growers use it daily to make decisions on labor, inputs, and harvest. It is already deployed across some of the largest specialty crop operations in the United States, spanning tree fruit, table grapes, berries, and nut crops.
This is a pioneering seat on the commercial team, opening a new market in Italy. You will own the full sales cycle with growers and farm operators, from first conversation to signed contract, and you will be selling technology growers can see working in their own orchards. Every new system deployed means less food waste and more people fed, so the impact is real and measurable.
Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, run discovery, demo in the field,
negotiate, and close new grower accounts.
Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, industry events, and trade shows.
Run field demos on growers' own operations, translating technical capability into farm economics.
Sell to farm decision makers: owners, operations managers, and agronomists.
Partner with Customer Success on handoff, and stay involved through the first season to drive adoption.
Bring structured market feedback from growers back to the product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in the CRM, and hit quarterly revenue targets.
Experience selling into permanent crops, ideally citrus, olives, table grapes, stone fruit, or other permanent tree and vine crops.
