Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the railway and urban transportation market. The role combines market development, customer engagement, bid support and cross-functional collaboration to help deliver winning solutions for our customers. The position in based in Naples, Italy.
Accountabilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across domestic railway markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
- Support bid activities, including market engagement, opportunity qualification and commercial positioning.
- Contribute to sales strategy,
pipeline development and market analysis to support business growth.
- Coordinate with engineering, bidding, finance and delivery teams to shape competitive and compliant solutions.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and business development initiatives.
- Commercial mindset with strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional
- Results-oriented approach with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Proactive attitude and capability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Proven experience in sales, business development or bid support within the railway, transportation or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics and commercial drivers.
- Experience working with complex tenders, pre-bid activities or opportunity qualification
