RINA is currently recruiting for a Technology Innovation and Strategy Junior Consultant - Categorie Protette 68/99 to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
We are looking for a Technology Innovation and Strategy Junior Consultant, registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99, to join our team. The Junior Consultant joins the team as an active contributor to project delivery, working under the guidance of Senior Consultants/Technical Coordinators and reporting to the Head of Technology Innovation, Strategy & Roadmapping. The person will take part in the engagements they are assigned to by carrying out analytical activities (data collection and analysis, desk research, structuring of findings and preparation of deliverables) while progressively learning the team's methodologies and building familiarity with the sectors and clients served.
Key Accountabilities
- Technology scenario analysis, market analysis and trend identification, value chain analysis, technology scouting, KPI definition,
benchmarking and implementation roadmaps;
- Supply chain optimisation, supplier scouting and benchmarking;
- Process optimisation;
- Business Continuity Plan;
- Support to subsidised finance schemes (e.g. IPCEI, Innovation Fund, PNRR) from application to compliance during the project execution phase;
- EU-funded R&D; projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, LIFE).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering
Qualifications
- Mandatory requirement: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 (collocamento mirato)
- Previous internship or academic project experience in consulting, business analysis, process improvement, or related areas is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ability to interpret business data.
- Familiarity with process mapping techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) and documentation.
