Our Central Logistics Department is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Logistics Engineer to join our team and support the continuous improvement of logistics processes across our manufacturing network.
In this role, you will support and drive the development and implementation of Physical Logistics processes, optimizing end-to-end material flows across our manufacturing plants and ensuring alignment with the overall Supply Chain strategy.
You will contribute to enhancing logistics performance in terms of cost, service, quality, and sustainability while promoting best practices and operational excellence in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and standardize material flow processes across the Division's manufacturing plants, supporting the harmonization of logistics practices.
- Lead packaging optimization initiatives, including packaging master data management, returnable packaging systems, and compliance with sustainability and regulatory requirements.
- Support transportation management and optimization by collaborating with sites on carrier performance, service improvement, and logistics cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor logistics quality, inventory performance, and key logistics KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
