Exide is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer, who acts as the primary link between customers and the manufacturing plant. He/She represents the voice of the customer within the organization and is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. The role supports the resolution of customer claims and quality issues, ensures compliance with customer requirements and quality standards, and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. When assigned to a specific customer, he/she may act as Quality Leader, representing the company from a quality perspective and supporting customer satisfaction,
risk management and performance improvement.
Main Tasks
- Understand customer requirements and define appropriate preventive and corrective action plans.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, promoting a customer-focused quality culture.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect information, prepare documentation and provide customer reports.
- Manage customer claims, warranty issues and audit findings, ensuring timely investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare, support and follow up customer audits, ensuring compliance with customer expectations and quality standards.
- Conduct and support internal system, process and product audits.
- Support customer-requested testing activities, new product launches and product/process homologation projects.
- Deliver training and awareness activities related to customer requirements and quality stand
