Ready to build software that makes an impact in the real world? Topcon is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Applications (C++) to join our Field Software team and contribute to advanced applications used by surveyors, engineers and construction professionals worldwide.
In this role,
you will work on cross-platform software that connects directly with GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, laser range finders and other field devices, helping users collect, process and apply precise positioning data in demanding field environments.
What you will do
- Design, develop and maintain field survey applications for Windows, Linux, Android and iOS using C++, Qt and QML.
- Build reliable software modules for data collection, device communication, positioning workflows and field operations.
- Integrate Topcon and third-party equipment including GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, laser range finders and other connected devices.
- Analyse technical requirements, estimate development effort and contribute to planning, prioritisation and delivery decisions.
- Support the full software lifecycle: architecture, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, release support and continuous improvement
