Join CAE's Simulator Technician team based in Rome, Italy, working on advanced flight simulation technology. This role offers exposure to a wide range of modern simulators, systems, and equipment, providing opportunities for learning, development, and progression within the technical function. This position operates on a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts) and includes a shift allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
- Learn and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on simulator systems.
- Use the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
- Run Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
- Complete required training activities.
- Perform basic visual system tasks, including visual alignment.
- Assist with refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.
- Learn and comply with the CAE Compliance Management System.
- Provide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
- Perform logistics duties including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
- Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain simulator conditions.
- Complete administrative tasks as required.
- Support the technical services group as needed.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations in an aviation training environment.

- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace/Aviation, or Computer Engineering, or at least 1 year of relevant experience i
