The Role:
Cumming Group are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Milan office. You will lead the delivery of a large-scale mission-critical development from construction through to commissioning. The successful candidate will act as the clients representative, overseeing contractor performance, project controls, stakeholder management and overall project delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a construction professional with a strong background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or complex industrial developments, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and major contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day delivery of data centre construction activities on site.
- Act as the primary client representative, ensuring project objectives are achieved.
- Manage contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.
- Oversee programme, cost, quality and health & safety performance.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Coordinate project reporting, governance activities and executive-level stakeholder communications.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practice and local regulatory requirements.
- Support commissioning, testing and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.
- Drive collaboration across design, construction and operational teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering large-scale construction projects.
