Your role
Mechanical Design Leader
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the mechanical design team (up to 10 people)
- Estimate engineering hours and monitor project progress
- Consultation with the PMO regarding project progress and management
- Promote technical standardization and innovation together with other COE Technical Leaders
- Ensure consistency between 3D models, drawings and BOM
- Support preliminary design reviews and proof of concept activities
Main requirements:
- Expert CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo)
- PDM/PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
- Machinery directives and safety standards
- GD&T; and technical drawingsPneumatic design knowledge
- Basic knowledge of ROI and Payback
