Your role
Mechanical Design Leader
Main responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the mechanical design team (up to 10 people)
Estimate engineering hours and monitor project progress
Consultation with the PMO regarding project progress and management
Promote technical standardization and innovation together with other COE Technical Leaders
Ensure consistency between 3D models, drawings and BOM
Support preliminary design reviews and proof of concept activities
Main requirements:
Expert CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo)
PDM/PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
Machinery directives and safety standards
GD&T; and technical drawingsPneumatic design knowledge
Basic knowledge of ROI and Payback
