Location:
on-site only, mainly Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and occasional travel to Linate Airport

Malpensa and Linate Airport (company car and phone provided)
Overview
This role is ideal for experienced L1/L2 Desktop Support Engineers looking to apply their troubleshooting, hardware support, and customer-facing skills in a specialist airport technology environment.
You'll provide technical support for automated passenger processing systems (eGates), ensuring critical airport technology remains operational. While the equipment differs from traditional desktop environments, many core desktop support skills transfer directly to this role.
What You'll Be Doin g

- Carry out regular routine and preventative maintenance on the range of passenger processing equipment within the airport
- Respond to all customer incidents and service requests passed across by the Global Service Desk and resolve any user faults within agreed SLAs
- Troubleshoot and help resolve connectivity issues
- Maintain a high level of communication at all times with both colleagues and customers
- Identify any spares required and advise the Global Service Desk accordingly to ensure that the customer incident can be updated accordingly
- Carry out regular "floor-walking" and proactive line-of-sight checks to identify and resolve any issues before they are escalated.
Requirements
What will you bring to ESP?

- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft software
- Understanding of network protocols, PC, server hardware and configurations
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to any new change or situation
- Ability to use a multimeter
