We are looking for a Service Signalling Maintenance Engineering Engineer for our site in Bologna. If you are passionate about railway signalling systems and want to contribute to the long-term maintainability and supportability of critical railway technologies, this is your opportunity.
You will join our Services Engineering team and contribute to the preparation, improvement and lifecycle management of signalling solutions deployed worldwide.
What You Will Do:
As a Service Engineer, you will support the team in differen key areas:
Integrated Service Readiness (ISR)

Define and improve maintenance documentation and procedures.

Prepare maintenance manuals, service documentation and training material.

Support the definition of spare parts strategies and maintenance concepts.

Contribute to customer and internal training readiness activities.

Ensure maintainability requirements are adequately captured during project execution.
- Perform maintanability demonstration in Alstom Lab and on field
Product Lifecycle & Obsolescence Management
- Support lifecycle management activities for signalling products and subsystems.
- Analyze component obsolescence and identify replacement strategies.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and product evolution plans.
- Assess impacts of hardware and software changes on maintenance activities.
Technical Support & Service Engineering
- Support international technical assistance teams on signalling maintenance topics.
- Participate in root cause investig
