Job Level: Manager
Reports To: Director Cluster Operations
The Quarry Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient and sustainable management of quarry extraction, production, maintenance and operational support activities.
The role ensures continuity of quarry and processing operations while achieving safety, quality, productivity, cost, environmental and customer service objectives. The Quarry Manager drives Operational Excellence, develops people, optimizes assets and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. The position is accountable for delivering the best competitive cost position through continuous improvement of mining, processing and maintenance activities while supporting long-term resource development and business growth.
The Quarry Manager ensures full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and promotes a Zero Harm culture throughout the site. The role leads safety initiatives, assures completion of required training, investigates incidents and near misses, implements corrective actions and guarantees compliance with all permits and regulatory obligations.
