Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for a Procurement Specialist
Location: completely full remote – Italy-based
Salary: perm contract €35-45K or Italian P.IVA 180-220€ daily + VAT
to provide operational & strategic procurement support, ensuring effective supplier management, cost optimization & compliance with procurement processes.
The resource will be responsible for managing supplier relationships throughout the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing & negotiation to contract management & purchase order processing.
Supplier sourcing & market scouting
Contract negotiation & management
Supplier onboarding activities
Creation & management of Purchase Orders (POs)
Monitoring supplier performance & contractual compliance
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives
Ensuring adherence to procurement policies & best practices
5-6 years of relevant experience
~ Proven experience in Procurement & Supplier Management
~ Experience in:
~ Supplier sourcing & qualification
~ Contract negotiation
~ Supplier onboarding processes
~ Purchase Order management
~ Good analytical & negotiation abilities
~ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
