In this role, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, defect analysis, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and execute specific testing approaches within defined stage of development e.g. risk based, exploratory, SIT, E2E, regression, security, usability etc
- Analyse functional and technical specifications and user stories to develop test cases and scenarios
- Work on the test scope and scenarios with key stakeholders and keep them informed of progress and any challenges/escalationsIdentify issues and risks relating to workload, elevate these and provide solutions
- Report defects and assist in their understanding and work alongside the right stakeholders to triage the bug
- Use a holistic approach to QA, reviewing test types and coverage, processes, runbooks, and documentation to mature the engineering and operational maturity of the department as it grows
- Work alongside Quality Engineers to gain an in-depth level of understanding of the system under test to enable risk assessment/mitigation and detailed estimation, creation, and execution of test artefacts
