Network & Cybersecurity EngineerWe are seeking a motivated Network & Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Carate Brianza. This position is ideal for a junior-level applicant with a strong interest in both networking and security, or a more experienced professional looking to apply their expertise in a hybrid role.
You will be instrumental in managing, securing, and optimizing our complex network infrastructure, spanning on-premises, edge, and cloud environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to build your expertise across both network engineering and cybersecurity, ensuring the resilience, performance, and integrity of our internal systems and customer deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain on-premise, edge, and cloud network infrastructure.
- Administer and fine-tune firewalls, load balancers, and VPN tunnels to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor network health,
troubleshoot connectivity (TCP/IP, routing, etc.), and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage network security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Oversee the lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, including procurement, installation, and renewal.
- Assist in the management of identity and access management (IAM) solutions and protocols (e.g., OAuth2.0).
- Collaborate with development and robotics teams to define and implement secure network solutions.
- Travel to customer sites (up to 15%) for on-site installation and troubleshooting of issues not resolvable remotely.
- Document network configurations, security standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required qualifications
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP suite, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Hands‑on experience with (or strong knowledge of) firewall and load balancing concepts.
