The Opportunity
The role requires a highly experienced technical professional with a strong background in Python development, software engineering, machine learning and scientific data.
You will be responsible for analysing requirements,
developing and delivering high-quality Python solutions, applying machine learning frameworks and working with scientific data formats within a technically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software solutions using Python.
- Perform technical analysis and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Deliver clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Apply machine learning frameworks to solve complex technical problems.
- Work with and process scientific data using relevant data formats.
- Analyse, manipulate and validate complex datasets.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify effective solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development and te
