The Italian platform is headquartered in Milan, with a large team of professionals and a strong track record in project development and execution. The company has a well-resourced origination function across Europe and is now looking to strengthen its commercial capabilities in Italy.
The Role
The Head of PPA Origination will lead commercial origination activities in Italy, with a strong focus on corporate PPAs and BESS offtake structuring. This is a senior,
front‑office role requiring a highly entrepreneurial and sales‑driven individual with deep market knowledge and an established network of corporate energy buyers.
The position sits within a broader European origination team and will work closely with senior leadership, including the Head of Origination. While initially an individual contributor role at Director level, there is clear potential to scale responsibilities in line with the growth of the Italian portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of long‑term corporate PPAs in Italy
- Drive BESS offtake origination, including development of innovative commercial structures
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key corporate offtakers and energy buyers
- Leverage existing industry network to originate new commercial opportunities
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with development, finance, legal, and engineering teams
