To strengthen its internal structure, VCUBE S.r.l., a SYS-DAT Group company based in Reggio Emilia, is seeking:
We are looking for a VMware Systems Engineer to work both at our office in Reggio Emilia and at our client sites in the Emilia region, between Parma and Bologna.
The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual eager to continue growing, regardless of their current level, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and making a positive and distinctive contribution to the entire team.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with Microsoft or Linux, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Many years of experience managing a virtualization infrastructure based on VMware vSphere 5.x/6.x
- Proficiency in installing and upgrading the vSphere/vCenter virtualization platform
- Creating and Configuring Virtual Machines Running Windows or Linux Servers
- Knowledge of networking (switches, routers, load balancers) and related protocols (TCP, NFS, CIFS, etc.)
- Knowledge of security systems (firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
- Knowledge in the Field of Storage
- Knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- Ability to analyze system performance and tune systems
Knowledge of the following will also be considered a plus
- other VMware products such as: vRealize Operations, vSphere Replication, Site Recovery Manager, Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, LogInsight, NSX, Horizon View, AirWatch
- in the management and configuration of blade servers from Cisco, HP, and IBM/Lenovo
- in related areas such as: Backup, Databases, and Applications.
