The selected candidate will support the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues affecting advanced vehicle systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve performance, reliability, and product quality. /ph3Main responsibilities: /h3ulliPerform rapid root cause investigations on complex vehicle systems, subsystems, and components. /liliAnalyze vehicle logs, diagnostic data, test results, validation reports, and field data to identify failure mechanisms and performance issues. /liliLead structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, 8D, and DMAIC. /liliInvestigate issues involving vehicle control systems, sensors, electronic control units (ECUs), electrical architectures, and software-hardware interactions. /liliCollaborate with software, systems, validation, integration, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive issue resolution. /liliSupport vehicle testing and validation activities by providing technical analysis and troubleshooting expertise. /liliCoordinate containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive measures to ensure effective problem resolution. /liliTrack issue progress and ensure timely closure of action plans. /liliPrepare technical reports, investigation summaries, and root cause analysis documentation.
/liliContribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing vehicle performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. /li /ulh3What we are looking for: /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field. /lili2-4 years of professional experience in root cause analysis, validation, testing, quality engineering, systems engineering, or related technical functions. /liliExperience in automotive, autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or complex mechatronic systems. /liliStrong knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA, and DMAIC. /liliExperience troubleshooting complex technical issues involving multiple engineering domains. /liliFamiliarity with vehicle diagnostics, data logging, and validation activities. /liliUnderstanding of sensors, ECUs, communication networks, electrical systems, or vehicle integration processes. /liliAbility to analyze technical data and identify effective corrective actions. /liliStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. /liliAbility to work effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams. /liliProfessional proficiency in English. /li /ulh3Work location: /h3pon-site Michigan (USA). /ph3International mobility hiring process: /h3pFor international opportunities, selected candidates may initially be employed under a local contract aligned with project and mobility requirements.
