Senior Process Engineer (M/F/X)

For a growing deep-tech client company in the PET depolymerization sector, we are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for the plant of Albese con Cassano (Como).
The role involves responsibility for process scalability and completing the Process Design Package (PDP) in collaboration with R&D; and Operations teams.
Responsibilies
- Oversee experimental design and identify potential operational issues, ensuring the validation of instrumentation
- Generate and analyze significant amounts of data to monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks and critical parameters, and propose tests to find solutions and remedies
- Develop scalable solutions of interest to major industry licensors, primarily EPC contractors and other industrial entities in the sector
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure process improvements are communicated and implemented across the organization
- Identify and develop improvement solutions focused on energy savings, material and cost optimization, increased process reliability, and reduced environmental impact
- Supervise junior colleagues, ensuring tasks are executed correctly and individual skill sets are enhanced
- Collaborate with potential new suppliers and/or third parties to continuously improve proprietary technology and the production process
Requirements
- 510 years of prior experience as a process engineer in a related field or with other licensors
- Proven experience in the engineering and management of chemical plants
Knowledge of key international engineering standards
- Experience in the design of complex chemical processes (specifically: reactor design, separation processes, heat exchangers, and solids/slurry handling)
