And that’s where you come in. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAssure the design and implementation of the Physical Security System (CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System, Physical Security Integrated Management System, Video Analytics) in order to achieve the requirements in terms of time, quality and cost imposed by the different contracts either for the Tender and Projects. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liAnalyze customer Physical Security system specifications, decomposing the statements within such specifications into requirements. /li liIdentify gaps between customer requirements and company products. /li liCreate requirement documents, including high level design documents, interface control design documents, and requirements traceability documents. /li liIdentification and resolution of the Physical Security interfaces. /li liPreparation of the preliminary design, detail design and installation design. /li liBe the primary technical interface to the customer throughout the life cycle of the project. /li liInterface with internal customers (project managers, construction managers, project engineers, and application engineers) and external stakeholders (customers, contractors, local authorities, external assessor) to ensure consistent communication. /li liDevelop and execute commissioning plans, including resourcing, logistics, and scheduling. Onsite lead for commissioning and acceptance testing. /li liCoordinate work sequences, schedules, resources and punch list items. /li liCollaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation, based on contractual requirements. /li liFollow up of the Sub-Contractors. /li liOversee commissioning and acceptance testing of the entire plant in a safe manner. /li liProvide local/remote technical support troubleshooting during commissioning, and operation as needed. /li liDevelop customer training and handoff material to internal and external OM teams.



Develop a train-the-trainer program to enable successful handoffs for safe operation of the plant. /li liCreate professional commissioning and testing reports for internal stakeholders and external customers. /li liDrive continuous improvement on developing and capturing technical problem solving knowledge to enable other organizations to effectively resolve customer problems and inquiries. /li liOwnership of administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to: service reports, issue logging/tracking, job safety analysis, quality compliance. /li liAdapt to different cultures and international environments establishing relationships that create business agevolazioni /li liAct keeping in mind the impacts of his/her own work on the whole 'Company system' and understanding the economic consequences of his/her activities both on client and organizational perspectives. Propose simple and efficient solutions to meet customer needs /li /ul h3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liKnowledge and understanding of current CCTV technology, including interpretation of user requirements, specification of CCTV cameras, PTZ solutions, encoding/decoding and compression protocols, video data interfacing/transmissions, mobile and central video recorders, operator control solutions, display panels, video analysis, integration with Physical Security Management System /li liKnowledge of the concepts related to the protection of personnel, hardware, programs, networks, and data from physical circumstances and events that could cause serious losses or damage to a transportation system. This includes protection from fire, natural disasters, vandalism. /li liKnowledge and understanding of Intrusion and Access Control System, perimeter intrusion detection System, integration with Fire Detection System or SCADA System, integration with CCTV, user access permission configuration,



biometric identification. /li liDesign and integration of CCTV, ACS, IDS and PSIM subsystems in a Railway environment /li liKnowledge of standards and norms related to the Physical Security systems /li liPerform commissioning and testing /li liSite surveys and analysis /li liPhysical Security system troubleshooting /li liBasic knowledge of problems and solutions related to wiring and connections, cabinets, cable paths, connections to Civil Works. /li liBasic knowledge of Railway Signaling and, in general, of Railway Engineering (in particular electric traction, stray currents, remote control) /li /ul h3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liBasic knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP and Modbus). /li liBasic knowledge of standards and norms related to Safety Integrity Level (hw and sw). /li liBasic knowledge of SCADA system /li liBasic Knowledge of the concepts related to maintenance principles, database, protocols for data transfer and collection, configuration of maintenance asset and work orders, warehouse management and spare parts. /li liBasic knowledge of problems and solutions related to wiring and connections, cabinets, cable paths, connections to Civil Works. /li liBasic knowledge Maintenance Management System in Railways and Mass Transit market. /li liBasic knowledge of Axis cameras, VMS and ACS devices; /li liBasic knowledge of Bosch cameras, VMS and ACS devices; /li liBasic knowledge of Genetec Security Center; /li liBasic knowledge of Milestone VMS; /li /ul h3Education / Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree, in descending order, Electronic, Electrical Engineering or Computer/Information Science /li li5 years of Physical Security System Engineering expertise as minimum. /li liRailway experience is preferred but also experiences on other large scale projects can be considered (e.g. OilGas, power energy companies, airports, etc.). /li /ul h3Languages /h3 pItalian Fluent, English fluent. /p pAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
