50% Remote or at Rome/Milan office (up to you)
50% travel to sites in Italy
We are working with a growing renewable energy company working across utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Italy, and they are looking to appoint a Quality Manager to take ownership of quality across the business and its project portfolio.
This is a key role with the opportunity to build and develop the company's quality management framework, while working closely with engineering, project management, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders across multiple projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Building and implementing a company-wide Quality Management System
- Ensuring projects comply with quality standards, technical specifications and contractual requirements
- Leading QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Reviewing and managing quality documentation, procedures, reports and inspection records
- Identifying non-conformities and supporting corrective and preventive actions
- Working closely with engineering, project management, suppliers and contractors
- Driving continuous improvement and monitoring quality performance
- Supporting quality standards and processes across a growing portfolio of PV and BESS projects
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- An Engineering degree – industrial, mechanical, electrical, energy or similar
- Experience in quality engineering / quality management, ideally within renewable energy, construction or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and ISO 9001
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers and project teams
- A structured, detail-oriented and hands-on approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Six Sigma certification would be advantageous
- Good professional English
Salary - Up to 55k / plus 10% premio
