We are seeking a Fixed Income Sales professional to join the Institutional Sales team who will operate as a Sales/Trader focused on institutional fixed income markets, reporting directly to the Head of Fixed Income Sales . This role requires a commercially driven attitude, strong market knowledge, and outstanding client management capabilities. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while contributing to the continued growth of our Fixed Income business.
Key Responsabilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a broad base of institutional clients, including Italian and international dealers, Hedge funds,Real money investors (asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies), Family offices, Other financial intermediaries and institutional investors
- Execute transactions on a riskless principal basis primarily on Government Bonds, SSA (Sovereign, Supranational & Agency) Bonds, Covered Bonds, Securities denominated in USD, GBP, and other non-euro currencies
- Leverage the Bank’s execution platform and extensive network of market counterparties to facilitate client business and trade execution
- Transfer and monetize an existing portfolio of institutional client relationships
- Originate and develop new institutional client relationships across domestic and international markets
- Contribute to revenue growth through active client coverage and business development
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in fixed income sales, trading, or intermediation
- Experience gained at Italian and/or international banks, brokers, or financial institutions
- Strong knowledge of Government bond markets, SSA markets, Covered bond markets, Institutional fixed income trading dynamics
- Established network of institutional clients with demonstrable revenue-generation potential
- Strong commercial mindset and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered a plus
- Proven ability to operate effectively in an international and highly competitive market environment
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding commercial and revenue targets
The applicable CCNL is the one covering Quadri Direttivi e il personale delle Aree Professionali dipendenti dalle imprese creditizie, finanziarie e strumentali.
The expected range salary (RAL) for this position is 70.000 – 90.000 per year with a classification within the Quadro Direttivo level.
The salary band’s placement and the specific job level are determined at the offer stage in a transparent manner that aligns with the selected candidate’s profile.
Salary levels are determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
For equivalent roles, we apply the same criteria, in compliance with Legislative Decree 96⁄2026 , which transposed EU Directive 2023⁄970 on pay transparency into Italian law (Pay Transparency Directive).
