Role Description The Freelance Writer at Star Queen Sisters is a full-time, on-site role based in Parma. The writer will create clear, engaging written content for digital platforms, including articles, social media posts, learning materials, and promotional copy that supports SQS Network’s training and community initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics related to digital work and online careers, drafting and revising content, collaborating with trainers and program leads to align messaging with learning objectives, and tailoring content for different audiences.
The role also involves maintaining consistent brand voice, meeting deadlines, and contributing ideas for new content formats that enhance learner engagement and support the company’s mission of digital empowerment.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for digital audiences.
- Experience researching topics and translating complex ideas into accessible, learner-friendly materials.
- Familiarity with online work, digital platforms, or the creator economy, and interest in supporting people entering digital careers.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, receive feedback constructively, and adapt content based on program needs.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Parma and engaging with learners, trainers, and community members in person.
- Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., word processing, online collaboration tools); exposure to AI-assisted writing tools is a plus.
- Relevant experience in content writing, education, communications, or a related field; a degree or formal training in writing, communications, or digital media is beneficial but not required.
