Job title:Hostess/Host
Reports directly to: Food and Beverage Manager
Overall Job Purpose
Maintaining a friendly, approachable attitude is crucial in this position.
A Hostess, or Host, works in the food and beverage industry welcoming guests to an establishment.
Their duties include greeting customers upon their arrival, ushering these patrons to designated tables, and introducing them to their Server.
They also help provide an enjoyable dining experience by ensuring that customers have everything they need.
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Fluent in English
Outstanding communication skills
Solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
You should also be available to work in shifts.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Experience in managing reservations
Demonstrable customer-service skills
Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
Availability to work in shifts as needed

2 years previous work experience as Hostess

Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
