This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier who combines operational excellence with a genuine passion for FB and understands how exceptional restaurants, bars and guest experiences can become a defining part of a hotel's identity.
/p pReporting to the senior leadership team, the General Manager will have overall responsibility for the hotel's operation, financial performance, people and guest experience.
/p pA significant part of the role will be focused on FB strategy and performance, ensuring the hotel's restaurants, bars, events and in-room dining are commercially successful, operationally excellent and positioned at the highest level of the Milan luxury market.
/p pResponsibilities /p ul liLead the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional 5-star service and standards across all departments.
/li liDevelop and execute the hotel's commercial strategy, with particular emphasis on Food Beverage revenue, profitability and positioning.
/li liDrive the performance and evolution of the hotel's restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting and events.
/li liWork closely with the Executive Chef and FB leadership to create compelling concepts, menus and guest experiences.
/li liBuild a strong reputation for the hotel within Milan's luxury hospitality, restaurant and lifestyle scene.
/li liMaximise profitability while maintaining uncompromising luxury standards.
/li liLead, inspire and develop a high-performing management team and wider hotel workforce.
/li liMaintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, service culture and luxury brand standards.
/li liDevelop relationships with key guests, VIPs, owners, partners and influential local stakeholders.
/li liOversee budgets, forecasting, PL performance, capital expenditure and operational planning.
/li liIdentify new commercial opportunities and ensure the hotel remains competitive within Milan's rapidly evolving luxury market.
/li liEnsure compliance with all relevant Italian regulations and company policies.
/li /ul pRequirements /p ul liPrevious General Manager or Hotel Manager experience within luxury 5-star hospitality.
/li liStrong operational and commercial leadership experience.
/li liA demonstrable track record of delivering outstanding FB performance.
/li liDeep understanding of luxury restaurants, bars, events and contemporary hospitality.
/li liStrong financial and PL management skills.
/li liExcellent leadership, communication and people-development abilities.
/li liA sophisticated understanding of the luxury customer and international clientele.
/li liStrong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
/li liThe ability to balance the demands of hotel operations with the creativity and pace of a high-profile FB business.
/li liExperience in Italy or a strong understanding of the Italian luxury hospitality market would be highly advantageous.
/li liFluency in Italian and English.
