Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the preventative and corrective maintenance production teams also auxiliary workshops and wheel lathes teams where relevant /li liMonitor and control Production output on a shift-by-shift basis. /li liHelp the depot manager in managing organisational change in order to optimise working practices and thus ensure a productive workforce. /li liEnsure all Production activities meet the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards customer specifications /li liHelp the depot manager in Identifing training certification/habilitation and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way. /li liReview work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Participate to analysis where there was a failure. /li liHelp the depot manager in identifying areas for improvement by personal check, analysis of vehicle incident reports and complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements. /li liPlan and coordinates operation and movements of the trains in the depot /li liHelp the depot manager continuous improvement of processes. /li liUpdate and close Service Order in Rail Sys /li /ul h3EHS /h3 ul liResponsible for leading team members to uphold site safety, including reporting of any unsafe acts, process/procedure deviation /li /ul h3Performance /h3 ul liProvide real time updates to the Production Manager on work progress against the agreed plan, SQDC deviations and adverse events. /li liEnsure that all worksheets are correctly provided to the required standard /li liCompletion of the shift paperwork 100% (exam, daily, safety sheets) /li liEnsure that the team follow the standard processes and conformto those standardson the job. /li liEnsure all documentation and procedures are at the correct revision and signed off in full when completed. /li /ul h3Team Communication /h3 ul liConduct regular informal discussions with team members.
/li liProvide regular feedback on team / individual performance. /li liBe proactive in seeking views and input from team members. /li liTake a proactive approach to support Production Managers in understanding and resolving team issues. /li liDemonstrate an awareness of continuous improvement, team development and best practice. /li liCarry out audit of processes to ensure feedback from team members to continually improve the process or procedures. /li liSupport the Production Manager in proactively working towards a reduction in Non-Value Added activities. /li liSupport the team to identify process changes and implement smarter ways of working, engage withAPSYS and Industrial Teams /li liEnsure 5S is fully implemented /li /ul h3Team Development /h3 ul liEnsure all team members have skills including Special Process training needed to perform and deliver against the work plan. /li liConduct regular review of skills matrix for team members. /li liIdentify individual training needs and report to Production Manager /li /ul h3Educational Requirements /h3 ul liHigh school diploma (Mandatory) /li /ul h3Desired Knowledge / Experience /h3 ul liIn-depth understanding of the rail depot and rail industry operations. /li liProven experience in fleet and/or maintenance and/or renovation within an operations role /li liAbility to work and lead a team. /li liKnowledge of Network rail Rules and Regulations, HSAWA, COSHH and local safety procedures /li liLanguages : Country language /li liTeam Player.
