In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections and quality tests on incoming materials, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy specifications, delivery instructions, quality standards, applicable international standards, and customer requirements. You will become part of our High Voltage Business Unit, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-voltage equipment and instrument transformers, including GIS, PASS TG, and VT solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. /p /brh3How You'll Make an Impact /h3 /brul /brliVerify that materials received from suppliers comply with engineering drawings, Hitachi Energy standards, delivery instructions, applicable international standards, and customer specifications. /li /brliPerform dimensional inspections and mechanical or electrical testing in the Incoming Quality Laboratory. /li /brliConduct inspections and supervise routine acceptance tests at local supplier sites when required. /li /brliPrepare accurate inspection reports and maintain quality records for inspected materials. /li /brliOpen, manage, and follow up on non-conformities identified during incoming inspections. /li /brliSupport urgent production requests by prioritizing and executing material inspections in a timely manner. /li /brliPerform inspections and testing activities required for the qualification of new components and suppliers, including PPAP activities.
/li /brliSupport Operation Quality and Customer Quality teams in the inspection of defective materials identified in production lines or at customer sites, contributing to initial root cause investigations. /li /brliCollaborate closely with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure clear communication of quality requirements and non-conformities. /li /brliApply standard processes, procedures, and quality tools relevant to the area of responsibility. /li /brliEnsure all inspection and testing activities comply with safety regulations, quality requirements, and contractual obligations. /li /brliPromote and embody Hitachi Energy's core values of Safety and Integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. /li /br /ul /brh3Your Background /h3 /brul /brliTechnical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering disciplines. /li /brliBasic understanding of quality inspection processes and quality management principles. /li /brliAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. /li /brliFamiliarity with measurement instruments and testing equipment is considered an advantage. /li /brliKnowledge of quality tools, non-conformity management, and PPAP processes is a plus. /li /brliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li /brliProficiency in Microsoft Office applications. /li /brliGood knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken. /li /brliWillingness to occasionally travel to supplier locations.
