Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineer in Jacobs' Italy Electrical Department, you shape electrical designs for power, life safety, ICT, and distribution systems on pharmaceutical, industrial, and building projects.
You'll coordinate with global offices, manage schedules and costs, and mentor junior engineers to ensure technically sound, code-compliant designs.
This role blends leadership with hands-on design in a hybrid-work environment, offering impact across projects and cross-regional collaboration.

Design power, lighting, earthing and lightning protection systems
Design life safety, security and ICT systems
Coordinate projects locally and with Jacobs offices
Apply local and international electrical codes and software (Etap, SKM, Neplan)
Perform project design studies and execution, including schedules, cost estimates and change control
Supervise junior and intermediate engineers and designers
Review design for logic, integrity and functionality
Design plant distribution and protection schemes
Develop detailed electrical specifications
Define work share and execute per project requirements
Carry out pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in specifications, engineering, design, construction and start-up with EPC/EPCM firms
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Buildings sectors is a plus
Experience in high, medium and low voltage design and equipment is a plus
Experience as Lead Engineer on medium projects or Area Lead on large projects
Availability for business trips
Knowledge of local and international technical codes
Knowledge of Etap, SKM, Neplan
