The successful candidate will act as the technical and hierarchical reference for a small multidisciplinary team within a larger organizational structure, ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of high-fidelity simulation solutions for engineering purposes.
**Key Responsibilities*** Coordinate and lead the activities related to the **development, integration, and maintenance of a rotary-wing flight simulator**.
* Act as **technical leader and hierarchical manager** for a small team, ensuring alignment with program objectives and company standards.
* Contribute directly to the **development of simulation software**, including models, tools, and supporting applications.
* Define, develop, and maintain **Interface Control Documents (ICD)** and technical specifications for simulator subsystems.
* Manage and coordinate **internal and external suppliers**, overseeing software and hardware development activities, technical compliance, planning, and deliverables.
* Interface with other departments (engineering, training, IT...) within a **larger organizational structure**.
* Support simulator validation, qualification, and acceptance activities.
* Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and problem-solving within the team.
**Required Experience and Qualifications*** **Exper/Senior - Minimum 5 years of proven experience** in the flight simulation domain, preferably on **rotary-wing (helicopter) simulators**; **10+ years of experience** is highly desirable.
* Solid background in **flight simulation systems**, real-time architectures, and simulator environments.
* Proven experience in **software development** (simulation, real-time systems, or related engineering software).
* Strong experience in writing and managing **ICDs and technical documentation**.
* Demonstrated capability in **supplier management**, including coordination of internal teams and external vendors for software and hardware development.
* Previous experience in a **team leadership or coordination role** is required.
