Deal provides services that range from conceptual and detailed design of pre-fabrication and erection systems, to the design and supply of specialised equipment such as launching trusses, straddle carriers, gantry cranes, casting machines as well as other custom lifting, moving and casting devices.
brThe Draftsman ensures the timely development of accurate and reliable technical drawings and documentation that support engineering, manufacturing and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
brThe role translates engineering concepts into clear, compliant and high-quality technical documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements, applicable standards and Company procedures.
brDesign Production brSupport the Design Engineer throughout the design development process, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, procedures and project requirements.
brDevelop detailed drawings for machinery, steel structures and other project components, using CAD and 3D modelling sofware (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor), ensuring alignment with engineering calculations, design requirements and applicable standards.
brTranslate engineering concepts, calculations and design requirements into accurate, clear and complete technical drawings.
brProduce and update 2D and 3D drawings and models, ensuring the accuracy, consistency and completeness of engineering documentation before issue.
brIncorporate design revisions, engineering changes and customer comments into technical drawings, ensuring proper document control and traceability.
brCoordinate with Design Engineers and other internal functions to collect technical information and support the development of engineering documentation.
brCoordinate with external engineering and drafting consultants, reviewing drawings, sketches, specifications and technical information to ensure consistency with approved design concepts.
brDiscuss and implement design revisions and technical changes agreed with the Design Engineer/Engineering Manager.
brVerify that drawings comply with customer specifications, contractual requirements, applicable codes, standards and Company procedures.
brMaintain and archive engineering drawings and technical documentation within the Company's document management systems in accordance with internal procedures.
brSupport technical clarifications related to drawings and engineering documentation during project execution, when required.
brMaintain and continuously develop the technical and professional competencies required for the role through active participation in training, learning and development initiatives.
brContribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and organizational performance by identifying improvement opportunities, reporting issues and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
brEnsure compliance with Company policies, the Code of Ethics, applicable laws and regulations, as well as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and requirements.
brTechnical diploma (Industrial/Mechanical background) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
brAt least 2-3 years of experience as a Draftsman in mechanical and/or steel structures design.
brGood knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD design software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor.
brAbility to develop and manage technical drawings and models with accuracy and attention to detail.
brGood knowledge of technical drawing principles, standards and documentation processes.
brGood English knowledge brPosition report to the Head of Engineering.
Activities are mainly performed at our offices in Cargnacco (Udine), with occasional site missions.
brPay range and compensation package brAnnual base salary from 30,000€ to 35,000€ based on experience and qualifications.
