ppRINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Rozzano or Fano within the Plant Engineering Division. /p /brh3Mission /h3 /brpWe are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who will lead and oversee process engineering activities within our energy projects. The Senior Process Engineer will play a key role in process design, optimization, and project execution, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our energy assets. /p /brh3Key Accountabilities /h3 /brul /brliLead and execute process engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept studies to FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and operational support. /li /brliDevelop and review key process engineering deliverables, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), Heat Material Balances, Process Datasheets, Cause Effect Diagrams, Process Descriptions, and Operating Philosophies. /li /brliPerform and supervise process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, flare and relief system studies, and other process design analyses using industry-standard software tools. /li /brliEnsure all process engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable codes and standards, company procedures, and client specifications. /li /br /ul /brh3Provide Technical Leadership and Expertise /h3 /brul /brliAct as the technical focal point for process engineering within multidisciplinary project teams. /li /brliProvide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate process engineers. /li /brliReview, validate, and approve engineering calculations, design documents, and technical reports. /li /brliSupport proposal preparation, scope definition, man-hour estimation, and technical bid evaluations. /li /br /ul /brh3Deliver Excellence in Energy Transition and Industrial Projects /h3 /brul /brliLead process engineering activities for projects related to Oil Gas, LNG, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture Storage (CCS), Power Generation, and other energy transition initiatives. /li /brliContribute to the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that enhance project value and operational performance. /li /brliEvaluate alternative technologies and process configurations to optimize safety, operability, efficiency,
and lifecycle costs. /li /br /ul /brh3Process Optimization and Operational Support /h3 /brul /brliConduct process assessments, debottlenecking studies, troubleshooting activities, and performance improvement initiatives. /li /brliSupport plant start-up, commissioning, performance testing, and operational troubleshooting. /li /brliIdentify opportunities to improve process efficiency, energy consumption, reliability, and environmental performance. /li /br /ul /brh3Ensure Process Safety and Regulatory Compliance /h3 /brul /brliIntegrate process safety principles into all engineering activities. /li /brliParticipate in or lead HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, and other risk assessment studies. /li /brliEnsure compliance with applicable international standards, industry best practices, environmental regulations, and client requirements. /li /brliSupport the development of safe and operable plant designs through the application of recognized engineering practices. /li /br /ul /brh3Collaborate with Stakeholders and Drive Project Delivery /h3 /brul /brliWork effectively within multidisciplinary and international project teams. /li /brliInterface with clients, vendors, licensors, and external stakeholders on technical matters. /li /brliProvide clear and effective communication of engineering solutions, project risks, and recommendations. /li /brliContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and the development of engineering best practices across the organization. /li /br /ul /brh3Education /h3 /brpMaster’s Degree in Chemical Engineering /p /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brul /brli+8 years of experience in process engineering within the energy industry. /li /brliProven track record of leading process design and optimization projects from conception to completion. /li /brliStrong technical expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) and engineering tools.

In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
