Responsibilities
Design of Wiring Systems
- Creates schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses.
- Defines how electrical signals and power are routed between components (ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, etc.).
- Ensures correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.
Skills
- Must have
- Voltage, current, power distribution
- Signal types (analog, digital, high-speed data like Ethernet)
- Ability to
- Calculate wire sizing and voltage drop
- Ensure correct fusing and protection concepts
- Knowledge of
- Vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
General requirement
- Solid understanding of
- Electrical fundamentals (voltage, current, power)
- Wiring systems and circuit design
- Knowledge of
- Vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Power distribution concepts (fusing, grounding)
Basic understanding of
- EMC/EMI principles
- Signal integrity (especially for ADAS / HPC)

Languages
- German: B2 Upper Intermediate
- English: B2 Upper Intermediate
Location
Preference will be given to candidates based near Turin, to enable at least one day per week of on-site presence. xjncmbx However, we will also consider candidates based in other Italian cities, with the possibility of a fully remote contract.
