The role supports Operational Technology systems including Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and other critical site infrastructure. /p /brpWorking with internal technology, engineering, operations, and vendor teams, you will help maintain network availability, performance, and security while supporting troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role requiring regular presence across local data centre sites in the Siziano/Milan area. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign, implement, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure for OT environments across critical data centre sites. /li /brliInstall, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices to maintain performance, resilience, and service continuity. /li /brliMonitor network performance, investigate complex incidents, work with internal teams and vendors,
and help drive root cause resolution and continuous improvement. /li /brliSupport monitoring, alerting, backup, testing, validation, and documentation activities across OT network systems. /li /brliApply security, operational, and regulatory best practices in a high‑availability environment. /li /brliParticipate in out‑of‑hours or emergency support when required to maintain service continuity. /li /br /ul /brh3What You’ll Bring /h3 /brul /brliExperience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment. /li /brliStrong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Fortinet security solutions, and network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, wireless networking, VPN, OSPF, VLANs, and TCP/IP. /li /brliStrong understanding of network security principles, troubleshooting, and operational support in high‑availability environments. /li /brliExperience supporting or working with OT systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, and HMIs is desirable. /li /brliKnowledge of infrastructure cabling, monitoring, management, documentation, and reporting tools, with scripting or automation tools including Bash or Python an advantage. /li /brliAwareness of standards and compliance requirements such as ISO, SOC 2, and PCI‑DSS is beneficial. /li /brliStrong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills in Italian and English, with commitment to accurate technical documentation and disciplined operational processes. /li /brliA degree in Computer Science,
