ppWe are looking for an Engineer – Renewables Data Centers to join our Engineering team in Turin, Italy. /ppThis is an exciting opportunity to work across two fast-growing sectors — Data Centers and Renewable Energy / Self-Consumption — and contribute to the development of complex projects from the earliest stages of site assessment and concept design through permitting, grid connection and technical coordination. /ph3What will you do? /h3ulliSupport site selection and test-fit activities, including preliminary technical assessments and site layouts. /liliContribute to MEP concept design, including MV/LV electrical systems, UPS, generators and cooling systems. /liliReview and coordinate technical design deliverables, working with internal and external engineering teams. /liliPrepare technical documentation to support permitting and authorization processes. /liliWork closely with grid connection specialists to align engineering solutions with HV/MV connection requirements. /liliSupport the definition of technical requirements for commissioning and operations. /liliManage relevant Terna platforms and grid connection requests. /liliContribute to project documentation and the development of internal Data Center design standards and guidelines. /li /ulh3What are we looking for? /h3ulliDegree in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Civil or Building Engineering, or a similar technical discipline. /lili1–3 years of experience in engineering design or technical coordination of complex systems. /liliAbility to read and produce CAD layouts and technical diagrams using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
/liliGood command of written and spoken English. /liliStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn. /liliAvailability to travel within Italy and a valid driving licence. /liliPrevious professional experience in Italy. /liliExperience in Data Centers, MEP engineering or large-scale energy infrastructure. /liliKnowledge of mission-critical systems such as UPS, generators, MV/LV systems, chillers and CRAH/CRAC systems. /liliFamiliarity with PUE, energy efficiency and free cooling. /liliKnowledge of Italian permitting processes and safety/fire prevention regulations. /liliExperience working with engineering firms, EPC contractors or general contractors. /liliRegistration with the Italian Order of Engineers. /liliKnowledge of Revit, Navisworks and/or Bluebeam Revu. /liliSpanish language skills would be an advantage. /li /ulpIf you are looking to grow your career while working on challenging projects at the intersection of energy, infrastructure and Data Centers, we would love to hear from you. /ppAt IGNIS, we promote equal opportunities and an inclusive working environment.
