YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravelm, taking full ownership of the process from architecture and design to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvementBuild and enhance intuitive and user-friendly front-end features using Vue.Js and Vuetify, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to deliver polished, accessible and high-performance user experiencesDesign, model and optimise data storage solutions across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring efficient schema design, indexing strategies and query performance as the platform scalesManage and maintain AWS infrastructure (including EC2 and S3) and on-premises environments to ensure reliability, security and consistent deployment processes across all systemsPromote clean architecture and SOLID principles throughout the codebase to contribute to code quality, through peer reviews, technical discussions and the implementation of best practicesAdvocate for a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach by creating comprehensive unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure system stability and enable frequent, reliable releasesIdentify, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges in application code and infrastructure to proactively drive continuous improvement initiativesParticipate actively in sprint planning, design workshops and retrospectives, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSDegree in Computer Science,
